This vibrant, very detailed painting of Canadian maple leaves took a very long time to paint. Each leaf was carefully painted to get the correct colour, shape, texture and contrast to surrounding leaves. I loved doing this painting, putting in the cat-tails and reeds of different colour amongst the leaves. It makes my soul soar to look at it.
