Unionville Mackay Art Gallery—called The Kathleen Gormley McKay Art Centre built c. 1835. Initially called the Salem Echardt House, this building was owned by Andrew Echardt, first postmaster of Unionville who participated in the 1837 Rebellion. It was purchased in 1950 by Kathleen McKay (nee Gormley). Fred Varley, an original member to the Group of Seven, was a guest here for the last decade of his life.
